At Events at Ethereal, we offer two distinct wedding venues in one unforgettable destination — making it easy to find the perfect fit for your love story.

Nestled on the historic downtown square of Woodstock, Illinois, we are centered between Chicago and Rockford and close to the Wisconsin border, making us a great location for couples across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Woodstock Square is truly a "Gilmore Girls" town. Covered in cute cafes and antique stores, there's a picturesque park at it's center and is surrounded by historic buildings (aka so many great photo spots)! With a local B&B, house rentals within walking distance, and nearby hotels, Woodstock is made for weddings.

What's the day-of coordinator do?
Historic charm, romance, and timeless beauty. Elevated and timeless without being stuffy.
Industrial, laid back but elegant, and intimate. Think "private room" at a brewery....but with chocolate and coffee.
We know. We know! Every vendor says "Venue Coordinators and Day-of Coordinators aren't the same", and we agree! Most aren't. But we're not most :)

We take the best of venue coordination and day-of coordination and combine them. Obviously we're there to make sure the building doesn't burn down, the bar is stocked and the temperature is good. But what you get from us is so much more. We help with ceremony rehearsal coordination (aka we line people up, tell them when and how to walk, etc), vendor coordination with load-in and timeline, we make sure the timeline is being followed the day of, help move people around for photos, act as your personal body guard and get you drinks (if your wedding party is slacking), and help clean-up your decor at the end of the night!

The only thing not included is decor set-up, but you can add on that service too! (though most of our couples are able to decorate the day before)
Catering and Bar, who handles what?
We handle the bar. Our bar packages are simple and crowd pleasing. But of course we can zhuzh it up with special orders and custom cocktails!

Catering comes from one of our preferred caterers. The list is long and they are all wonderful! We know having in-house catering can be convenient, but it generally comes with high minimums and price tags. Outside catering is a little more work on the front end, but ultimately give you more control over the budget and offerings!
Do you have an elevator?
Parking
Yes. Both venues have elevators.
We utilize public parking. There are three free 24-hour lots and ample street parking within a block or two and across the street.
Where's Woodstock?
Great questions! Some neighboring towns include McHenry, Crystal Lake, Huntley, Harvard and Marengo. We're in McHenry County and have a metra station just a couple block away!
